Project Overview

A large-scale farming operation was managing irrigation manually, resulting in water waste and inconsistent crop yields. We designed and built an IoT data ingestion system that collected readings from 200+ soil moisture sensors, weather stations, and flow meters. A web dashboard provided real-time visualization, historical trend analysis, and automated alerts. The system could trigger irrigation zone valves automatically based on configurable thresholds and weather forecasts.
